Ted Maciuba, P.E., is the Deputy Director of Mounted Requirements for the US Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, Fort Benning, Georgia.
Mounted Requirements is responsible for materiel requirements for Combat Vehicles within the Armored, Stryker, and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams including Abrams; Bradley; Stryker; Armored Multipurpose Vehicle (AMPV); Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle; and Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV); as well as initiatives such as Future Fighting Vehicle (FFV), Future Tank, Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF), and Light Reconnaissance Vehicle (LRV). Mounted Requirements is also responsible for materiel integrated into Combat Vehicles such as medium and large caliber cannons and ammunition; remote weapons stations; sensors, including hostile fire detection; active protection systems against a range of threats, and the Combat Vehicle to Crewman Interface.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he earned a Master of Science in Engineering degree, with a major in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a Professional Engineer, licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
